A foundation of Titanium Lacrosse is to help develop well-rounded lacrosse players through a holistic approach that balances the emphasis on them as athletes, students and members of the community. Accordingly, a big part of what sets Titanium Lacrosse apart from other lacrosse clubs is our focus on what happens OFF the field, in the classroom and in the community. This focus, can position Titanium players to achieve a variety of successes, especially as they strive to meet their overall goals.
One of the many tools Titanium uses to educate our players and families is live conference calls. Below are a few recordings from previous calls:
While not every Titanium Lacrosse player aspires to play at the next level in college, Titanium offers a unique set of services for those who do. Regardless of the player’s age or skill-level, Titanium focuses on a balanced approach: strong athlete, strong student and strong contributor to the community. Titanium’s college-prep counseling services focus on players who want to play college lacrosse by helping with strategic decisions, including:
· Selecting the best academic road map and coursework in high school to ensure success as a collegiate student/athlete
· Maximizing applicable college credits before even hitting campus to get ahead academically and potentially to lighten the course load during the college lacrosse season without losing ground toward earning a degree
· “Connecting the dots” in the many decisions related to selecting the right college beyond just the lacrosse program
Titanium Lacrosse offers the expertise of education specialists to help in these important considerations and decisions.
While lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, many parents aren’t familiar with the basics—from player positions on the field to basic rules and coaching strategies. A big part of the enjoyment in watching lacrosse is derived from understanding what is happening on the field, and our parent-focused “lacrosse basics” courses help parents who are either new to lacrosse or have been away from it for some time. In Lacrosse 101, families learn what to look for and expect as they watch their kids strive to excel on the field.
Offered in either group formats or individual sessions, these educational opportunities can be customized to whatever level of knowledge or detail that best suits the interest of Titanium Lacrosse audiences.
Proper nutrition is essential for maximum performance in athletics. There are many nutrition and supplement programs on the market today, the majority of which do more harm than good for youth athletes. Many youth and high school athletes attempt to achieve through untested, potentially dangerous supplements. When serving as the Director of Football Performance at The Ohio State University, Lichter was educated on nearly every imaginable high-end training, nutritional and supplement program on the market. After extensive research, Lichter recognized that Advocare was the world leader in product innovation and safety through it's informed-choice certification program. In 2009, Lichter joined forces with Advocare and began serving on its Sports Advisory Council. Through years of experience in developing world-class athletes, Titanium Lacrosse's Director of Lacrosse Performance, Eric Lichter, has custom built nutritional supplement programs designed to help Titanium players reach their full potential. These programs contain the exact same supplements taken by collegiate and professional athletes due to their quality and safety.
